Northwest Texas Healthcare System Behavioral Health Offering Education on LGBTQ+ Clinical Approaches

Northwest Texas Healthcare System Behavioral Health, in collaboration with Texas Panhandle Centers and Panhandle Behavioral Health Alliance, will be hosting an educational event, “LGBTQ+ Clinical Approaches” with featured speaker Ann Cobb-Tidwell, LPC on Friday, June 23 from 11 am – 2 pm at the Amarillo College West Campus Lecture Hall.
Medical professionals in social work and counseling are encouraged to attend this event to learn more about communication tips, best practices, understanding health needs, standards of care and therapeutic interventions. Attendees will also have access to learn more about community resources during the event.
