Alliance PPO Network

Alliance Regional Health Network

Alliance PPO network includes 25 hospitals and more than 1,000 physicians and allied health providers. As a regional office, networks have been developed in Amarillo, Lubbock and the Panhandle region. All of these providers contract with Alliance to offer discounted rates on their services in exchange for greater patient access.

Health benefit plans that incorporate the Alliance PPO offer financial incentives to employees to use Alliance network providers. A key benefit of Alliance is that patients retain the right to choose doctors and hospitals, with greatest benefits when they use network providers.

In addition to the PPO, other products available through Alliance include a Workers' Compensation network and an occupational injury network. These products are designed to offer the client cost containment, coordination of quality healthcare services and the optimum level of choice in selecting providers.

Clients include insurance companies, self-funded employers, third party administrators and state and national PPO's. Alliance works individually with each client to tailor a program that best meets the needs of both employers and their employees.

Alliance Regional Health Network is one of the dominant forces in managed healthcare in the north Texas region. Why? The organization has earned its market share by offering a select panel of providers, freedom of choice for its members and cost containment for employers and payors. The result?

  • Hospitals throughout the region, including Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo. NWTHS offers trauma services for the region, neonatal ICU and pediatric ICU, and LIFESTAR, a fully equipped, advanced emergency helicopter.
  • A carefully selected panel of physicians and allied health providers, offering members both choice and quality healthcare.
  • A wide range of products tailored to meet market demand and the changing healthcare environment. These products include a Preferred Provider Organization and a Workers' Compensation network.
  • A strategic plan for steady growth into new markets, beginning with central and west Texas.

Since its inception in 1986, Alliance has continually grown and changed to meet the needs of the members, employers and payors in the communities it serves. Alliance's growth is destined to continue as it applies the same standards of excellence to future markets that have been so successful in the past.
