Northwest Emergency at Eastern, a Service of Northwest Texas Healthcare System, is holding a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. The facility is expected to open in 2025. It will be located at 4409 E Interstate 40 in Amarillo.
When it opens, Northwest Emergency at Eastern will be open 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. It will be staffed with the same personnel and equipment available in Northwest Texas Healthcare's hospital-based emergency room.
