Northwest Children’s Hospital Continues Therapy Services for Autism Patients

The Pediatric Therapy Department at Northwest Children’s Hospital has continued to provide therapy services for patients with autism spectrum disorder amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Department staff provide these in-person therapeutic interventions while adhering to all safety guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

“Children with autism spectrum disorder are dependent on routine in their everyday lives. We felt we needed to make adjustments in the processes to allow us to continue to provide the consistency they need,” stated Ryan Cotgreave, Director of Physical Medicine and Neurosciences at Northwest Texas Healthcare System.
