Northwest Texas Healthcare System announces the appointment of Gina Temple, PhD, FACHE, as its new Chief Executive Officer. NWTHS operates a 495-bed acute care facility and employs a team of more than 2,000 healthcare professionals serving the top 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle and neighboring states.

Temple brings more than 15 years of healthcare leadership experience to the role, with a documented history of accelerating service-line development, improving clinical outcomes and building robust physician collaborations. She most recently served as Chief Executive Officer for a major health system in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The appointment marks a return to the state for Temple, who previously held multiple senior executive roles in Texas. Her background includes serving as a hospital CEO and Texas Group Chief Operating Officer in San Antonio, providing her with deep expertise in the state's unique healthcare landscape and regulatory dynamics.

Temple holds a PhD in Applied Management & Decision Sciences and is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, signifying the highest standard of professional competence in healthcare administration.
