Northwest Nurses Recognized as Panhandle Great 25 Nurses

The Texas Nurses Association (TNA) worked with the Panhandle Organization of Nurse Executives to recognize 25 area nurse on October 17, 2017. Seven Northwest Texas Healthcare System nurses have been chosen for their outstanding service by the Texas Nurses Association "Panhandle Great 25 Nurses" for 2017. The prestigious recognition was determined by the "Panhandle Great 25 Nurses" Review Panel, which evaluated all the nominations that were submitted earlier this year.

The panel did not know the names, titles or employers of any of the nominees, and based their decisions solely by comparing the established criteria with each nominee’s accomplishments in the following areas:

  • Role model
  • Leadership qualities
  • Service to the community
  • Compassionate caregiver
  • Significant contributions

The distinguished awardees are:
