Northwest Texas Healthcare is a leader in healthcare in the Panhandle region, serving as a destination referral center for the Texas Panhandle, Eastern New Mexico, Southeast Colorado, the Oklahoma Panhandle and Southwest Kansas. As the region’s only Level III Trauma Center, Northwest transports critically injured patients via our LIFESTAR Aeromedical service from a five-state area. We also operate the Texas Panhandle’s only Heart Hospital and Children’s Hospital, and provide high-risk OB services in addition to a number of specialty services. Our academic affiliation with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center offers a unique clinical training and learning experience for students and residents.
